3D Scanning

• Upon finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and uses 3D scanning to create a precise digital model. This process employs advanced scanners to capture the exact shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. The resulting digital model becomes the cornerstone of the design process. Known for integrating sophisticated mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, ZACOE Performance requires absolute precision at this stage, with the scanning process typically exceeding 40 hours per car.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digitally scanned model in hand, ZACOE Performance’s design team gathers for brainstorming sessions, sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where bold ideas are brought to life in a digital environment. After finalizing the draft design, the team conducts preliminary aerodynamic testing using specialized software. Cutting-edge technology enables ZACOE Performance to consistently deliver exceptional quality and innovative designs.

Prototyping

• Once the digital model is refined and tested, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype using ABS material. This step involves specialized equipment like 3D printers or CNC machines to manufacture each kit component. The prototype is assembled and rigorously tested on the vehicle to ensure perfect fitment and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• After testing and refining the prototype, ZACOE Performance transitions to producing molds for the carbon fiber kit.
