3D Scanning

• Upon completing the model and concept development, ZACOE Performance obtains an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an accurate digital model. This step utilizes a specialized scanner to capture the car’s precise shape and dimensions. The digital model serves as the basis for the design process, ensuring the incorporation of sophisticated internal mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. The initial scanning stage is critical, often requiring more than 40 hours to complete for each vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• After acquiring the digitally scanned model, ZACOE Performance designers hold brainstorming sessions to conceptualize ideas, starting with hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where designers refine their boldest concepts in the digital space. Once the draft design is finalized, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using specialized software. Prototyping

• With the digital model designed and tested, ZACOE Performance begins crafting a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance moves to the final stage of producing the carbon fiber kit mold. Using the prototype, molds are created for each component to manufacture the finished product.
