3D Scanning

• After finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create a highly accurate digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the team captures the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. This digital model forms the foundation for the design process, which requires exceptional precision to accommodate ZACOE’s advanced mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Each car typically undergoes over 40 hours of scanning to ensure accuracy.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions and develop initial concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are then transformed into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the designers bring their boldest ideas to life in a digital format. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using specialized software. This integration of technology allows ZACOE to deliver cutting-edge designs with unmatched quality and innovative results.

Prototyping

• Following the design and testing phase, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. The process involves advanced equipment, such as 3D printers or CNC machines, to craft each component with precision. The prototype is assembled and tested on the vehicle to ensure a perfect fit and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• After testing and refining the prototype, ZACOE Performance proceeds to produce the mold for the carbon fiber kit. Using the prototype as a template, the team creates molds for each component. This process combines skilled craftsmanship with specialized machinery, requiring meticulous attention to detail. The result is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s aesthetics and performance.
