3D Scanning

• After finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create a highly accurate digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the precise dimensions and contours of the car’s exterior are captured, laying the groundwork for the design process. This stage demands exceptional precision to integrate advanced inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, with each scan requiring over 40 hours.

Digital Design & Testing

• Once the digital model is complete, ZACOE Performance designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions, sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where designers refine and bring their boldest ideas to life. After finalizing the draft design, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using cutting-edge software, ensuring optimal sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Prototyping

• With the design approved and tested, ZACOE Performance moves on to crafting a physical prototype using ABS material. Components are manufactured with advanced tools, such as 3D printers and CNC machines, before being assembled and tested on the car to confirm fitment and performance.

Mold-making

• Once the prototype is validated and adjusted as needed, ZACOE Performance proceeds to create molds for the carbon fiber kit. These molds, derived from the prototype, are crafted through a combination of expert manual techniques and specialized machinery. The result is a meticulously designed, lightweight carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s performance and visual appeal.
